The 88th Academy Awards ‘The Oscars’ 2016, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), were held on February 28, 2016, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, to honor the best films of 2015.

“Mad Max: Fury Road” won the most awards, total 6 and “The Revenant” got the maximum nominations, total 12.
